College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organized its fourth annual conference to discuss the graduation research of its students for the morning and evening studies for the academic year 2023/2024. Under the slogan “With scientific research, minds advance and nations flourish,” on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, and under the patronage of the President of Basra University for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Muhammad Halil Hafez. Al-Kaabi, and under the supervision of the Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Muhammad Al-Tamimi, and in the presence of the scientific assistant at the university, Professor Dr. Ammar Kazem Al-Baaj. The conference activities was directed by Dr. Nassif Jassim Al-Abadi. The conference was opened with verses from the Holy Quran, the national anthem. A speech delivered by the Dean of the College during which he stressed the conference included many scientific researches that discuss multiple issues related to the oil and gas industry sector, and there were distinguished researches that could be developed and promoted to become master’s thesis projects. He explained that the conference sessions for that year were in the morning and evening, and that was the fourth edition to discuss the graduation research of Department of Oil and Gas Management and Marketing as a morning study and the first for the evening study in that department. As for the Departments of Oil Project Management and Oil and Gas Economics. After that, the opening session of the conference was held, in which the research of the students Umm Al-Banin Salah, Shadan Abdel-Moayed, and Lina Al-Hassan was discussed. As for the second morning session only, the research of: (Fatima Jabbar, Batoul Fayez, Zahraa Abdel-Raouf, Ahmed Asaad, Haider Imad, and Fatima Salman) was discussed. Kazem and Ghaida Ali) and the third morning session included discussion of the research of: (Zahraa Jabbar, Afnan Mudar, Fatima Muhammad, Tahseen Abbas, Zahraa Mushreq, Tabarak Osama, Manar Kazem, and Rafah Muhannad). As for the evening study, their discussion was divided into two sessions, the first of which was discussed the students were: (Afaf Maitham, Rawnq Salah, Abdullah Ati, and Ali Hussein). The second session was devoted to discussing the research of the students: (Dua’a Kazem, Fatima Mohamed, and Ahmed Hassan). At the conclusion of the conference, the students whose research was discussed were highly valued for their scientific efforts.
