The Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami O. Al-Tamimi, for five-a-side football (students) was launched on evening, Sunday, the fifth of May. It was organized by Student Activities Unit at College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas and Student Activities Division in the Presidency of Basra University for Oil and Gas. The match witnessed the winning of Oil Projects Management Department (evening) over the students of Oil and Gas Management and Marketing Department (morning) with a score of (12-1) after complete control of the match. In the second match, the team of students from Oil and Gas Economics Department (evening) won over the team of students from Oil Management and Marketing Department with a score of (3-1). The Championship supervisor and the official in charge of student activities unit at the college, assistant lecturer Abbas Zaki Abdul Hussein, stated that the Championship was part of student activities to promote health and sports matters among the students and the diversity of activities that would enhance the aspects of well-being and sports in the lives of the students before the curtain comes down on the current academic year.
