Based on the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and with the follow-up and guidance of the President of Basra University for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Muhammad Halil Al-Kaabi, and for the sake of solidarity with the Palestinian people and people of Gaza and the destruction and annihilation they were subjected to, College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas was organized with the participation of its members and professors. On Thursday, the second of May, they held a solidarity stand during which they announced their stand with the Palestinian people and the destruction and treacherous attacks they face. That was done through speeches delivered on the occasion during which they called on the international community to intervene to end the suffering of the defenseless Palestinian people, including innocent children and women, and they chanted the sacrifices of the martyrs from the heroic sons of the Palestinian people concluded the solidarity stand by reciting Surah Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs of Palestine who fell victim to the cowardly attacks of the Zionist entity.
