The Department of Oil Project Management at College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, in cooperation with Continuing Education Division at the Presidency of Basra University for Oil and Gas, organized a training course on (How to apply for scholarships outside Iraq) on Wednesday the twenty-fourth of May, under the auspices of the President of Basra University for Oil and Gas. Professor Dr. Muhammad H. Al-Kaabi, under the supervision of the Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami O. Al-Tamimi, and the Head of the Department of Oil Projects Management, Assistant Lecturer Rafid Khader Radhi. He lectured on the types of scholarships and fellowships, application mechanisms and application requirements, and the scholarships offered from countries directly or through the Department of Scholarships, Cultural Relations, Competition Mechanisms, and how to apply electronically to obtain those scholarships. On its first day, the course witnessed interventions and inquiries from the atendees on the subject of scholarships, which were answered by the lecturer at the end of the first day’s activities.
