College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at Basra University for Oil and Gas launched a charitable volunteer campaign to distribute food baskets to needy and poor families, coinciding with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan and under the slogan (Volunteering is a national priority). The campaign witnessed the distribution of the first meal of (Ramadan basket) to some needy families in Basra Governorate Center, and a number of teachers, employees, and college students participated in the campaign, who expressed their continuation of this annual initiative, which reflects national concern for poor families, especially during the days of a holy month such as the blessed month of Ramadan, which encourages communication with people, sensing their needs and concerns, and working to help them.
