A Student at College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas Participates in the First International University Youth Scouting Forum

Basra University for Oil and Gas participated in the International University Scout Youth Forum under the supervision of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Service, which was held in Babylon Governorate, hosting the University of the Future and with the participation of (64) governmental and private universities and colleges, including Basra University for Oil and Gas, represented by: Director Student Activities at the university: Muhammad Abdul-Rida Al-Mansouri and the student from the Department Management and Marketing of Oil and Gas at College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Hussein Abdul-Jabbar. The Scouting Forum constitutes an opportunity to enhance cultural communication and exchange experiences between young people from different countries. The event also highlights the importance of building team spirit and promoting the values of Scouting at the international level and encourage students to participate actively and invest this opportunity in expanding their cultural horizons and developing their leadership skills. It is worth noting that the forum was held with the participation of 64 universities and colleges from inside and outside Iraq, and it is considered the first of its kind in Iraq, with the participation of professors from Arab countries such as the Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. Its activities continued for 4 consecutive days, and included workshops, sessions, and purposeful discussions. In addition to practical and theoretical lectures on various aspects of scouting, prizes were distributed at the closing ceremony in the summer session, and all participants were given certificates of participation, in addition to distributing shields to the ministerial side and Arab leaders.
