The Department of Oil and Gas Economics (evening study students) organized the annual festival on the occasion of Shaabani births on Tuesday the twenty-seventh, in the central conference hall of the college, under the sponsorship and in the presence of the Dean of the College Professor Dr. Sami Al-Tamimi, and under the supervision of the head of the teaching department, Helen Al-Maliki. The ceremony was led by Mr. Ammar Jamil, the fortune teller. The ceremony activities began with the reading of verses from the Holy Quran in the voice of the reciter (Ali Khalaf Al-Maryani), followed by Surat Al-Fatihah. The occasion speech was presented by the Dean of the College Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Al-Tamimi. A religious lecture by Mr. Abdul Salam Zain Al-Abidin, and immediately afterwards, there were religious poems and poems about the Shaabani births, with the voice of (Al-Radud Muntadhar Al-Asadi). The festival activities were concluded by honoring the participants and contributors to the success of the festival activities and distributing sweets and refreshments to the attendees amid great rejoicing and joy in these blessed Shaabani occasions.
