College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, in cooperation with Electronic Calculator Center at the Presidency of Basra University for Oil and Gas, organized a workshop entitled (ISM CODE Safe Management) on Wednesday the fourteenth of February, in the conference hall and under the auspices of the President of University, Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Kaabi, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Al-Tamimi. The workshop was moderated by Dr. Surur M. Daoud, and chief marine engineer Zia A. Al-Quraishi lectured. The lecturer spoke about the concept of safe management, the implications of safe management, the foundations and rules of safe management, and explained the topic of the safe safety management code. The safety and protection of the environment, the responsibilities and authority of the company, the importance of resources and individuals, with reference to the issue of export platforms, production sites and product transportation, linking the concept of safe management to the oil and gas industry, and how to work to establish a culture of safe management by working in industrial facilities, especially with regard to the sites of oil companies and their work for the sake of quality work and accuracy of productivity. At the conclusion of the workshop, the Dean honored the lecturer with a college shield and a certificate of thanks and appreciation, and the Director of Electronic Calculator Center, Dr. Sorour, honored him with a certificate of appreciation in appreciation of his fruitful scientific efforts in making the workshop a success.
