College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, in cooperation with Continuing Education Division at the Presidency of Basra University for Oil and Gas, organized a training course for newly recruited and confirmed contract employees on the topic (Quality of Work Life). The course began on Tuesday the thirteenth of February, in the conference hall. Dr. Adnan H. Jaaz and the assistant lecturer, Russell I. Nouri lectured. Miss. Russell confirmed that it was a concept of quality work life was one of the administrative issues that has occupied a distinguished place in the literature of human resources management and organizational behavior because. it was a concept that contains many indicators that enhance institutional performance and provide job security for the worker. This is in order to develop human capital and improve the work environment, the worker’s professional life and his personal life, including increasing production at work, accuracy and quality in the various tasks performed by the employee
