Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, in cooperation with Continuing Education Division at Basra University for Oil and Gas, organized a training course entitled (A proposed work methodology for preparing scientific research for the graduation project, methods of dealing with international containers, and methods of documenting scientific sources) with the participation of students in the third and fourth stages of both studies. The course was held this on Monday, the fifth of February, under the patronage of the President of Basra University for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Muhammad H. Al-Kaabi, and the supervision of the Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami O. Al-Tamimi. Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed A. Al-Rashed lectured, who touched on the methodology. Writing scientific research for graduation projects, how to search for sources and references, the citation mechanism, referring to references, and documenting them in scientific ways that are compatible with scientific honesty and the ethics of scientific research. He also showed the trainees how to sequence the research from its beginning to its end, and how to choose the titles of theoretical investigations and come up with important recommendations and proposals, with a focus on accuracy. The applied aspects and case studies that the student adopts in his graduation research. At the end of the first day of the course, the lecturer listened to the students’ questions and interventions and answered them clearly in order to achieve the benefit that reflects positively on the completion of their graduation research.
