College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas and the Specialized Studies Association Launched Cultural Cooperation for the Year 2024

Within the activities of cultural and knowledge cooperation between the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas and the Specialized Studies Association, they organized cultural cooperation for the year 2024, on Sunday, the fourth of February, in the conference hall at the university and under the patronage of the President of the university. The opening session was head  by the Administrative Assistant of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Dr. Adnan H. Jaaz. The cultural cooperation was opened with a speech by the scientific assistant at the university and the university’s representative in the Specialized Studies Association between the seminary and the university, Professor Dr. Ammar K. Al-Baaj, who emphasized the role of youth as the pillar of society. Their righteousness is a strength for society and our institutions, pointing to the importance of openness to everyone in order to build Iraqi human being, especially the youth segment. The Secretary-General of the Al-Ghari Foundation for Islamic Knowledge in Najaf Al-Ashraf and the Director of the Specialized Studies Association between the seminary and the university, His Eminence Sheikh Qasim Al-Hashemi, also gave a cultural lecture stressing the start of cultural cooperation. It comes as a communication between the Specialized Studies Association between the seminary and the university, which aims to spread societal culture and emphasize adherence to the lofty principled values of our Islamic religion, as the association has been organizing lectures for Iraqi university students, who represent an important youth segment in the field of education and awareness for the sake of intellectual immunity against all suspicions and intellectual deviations. In order to come up with a unified civilized discourse that takes the students’ hands towards commitment to the moral principles and behaviors recommended by the heavenly religions, leading to a society in the spirit of tolerance, love and peace. At the conclusion of the activities of the opening day of cultural cooperation, the university honored the delegation of the Specialized Studies Association between the seminary and the university for their role in contributing to human building and educating Iraqi youth, especially university students.
