The Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at Basra University for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami O. Al-Tamimi, participated in the meeting of the Committee of Deans of Faculties of Administration and Economics in Iraq, which was held with the participation of 26 public universities within the University of Kirkuk. The necessity of advancing and improving the educational reality and enhancing scientific sobriety in University of Kirkuk was discussed. Faculties of Administration and Economics, where the issue of creating some new scientific departments in private colleges was discussed and appropriate decisions were taken as to whether these departments meet the conditions that qualify them to open these specializations, as well as the creation of study programs in government colleges. On the sidelines of the meeting, the President of University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, honored the deans of the colleges, including the Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Al-Tamimi, for their scientific and administrative efforts in improving the status of their colleges.
