College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas Participates in Consultative Meeting to Discuss the Second National Plan for the UN Resolution to Advance Programs Aimed at Implementing Women, Security and Peace Agenda.

The head of Women’s Empowerment Unit at College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Assistant Lecturer Russel Essam, participated in the consultative meeting to discuss the second national plan for the UN resolution to advance programs aimed at implementing women, security and peace agenda, which was organized by Women’s Empowerment, Family and Child Affairs Department at Basra Governorate Office and Al-Firdaws Association. On Tuesday, the fifth of December, in the Agricultural Products Hall in Basra. Miss. Nouri confirmed that the meeting came as a continuation of constructive cooperation between women’s empowerment officials in the institutions and departments of Basra. During the meeting, ideas were discussed and crystallized to implement the provisions of the Second National Plan of the UN Resolution No. (1325). To promote programs that aim to develop the reality of women in general, especially in matters related to women’s participation in decision-making and peace processes.
