On the occasion of International Entrepreneurship Week and within the activities of Basra University for Oil and Gas, College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organized a workshop to present some success stories to the participants in the “Riyada” courses, as well as display some products to the trainees and graduates. On Thursday, the sixteenth of November in the conference hall, and in the presence of the special ministerial committee for following up on the activities of government universities on the occasion of Global Entrepreneurship Week, as well as the presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sami Al-Tamimi, the workshop held. The workshop was presented by Miss. Karama. Abdul Jabbar, who talked about how to transform an idea into a project, whether small or big, through which the young entrepreneur could make a living from his own project without relying on government employment or others. She stressed that many trainees have begun to establish successful steps for their projects, and today they present a group of their products are samples of their small or micro projects, which benefit them financially through the talents and entrepreneurial ideas they possess. Success stories of some of the owners of those projects were reviewed, and they thanked Basra University for Oil and Gas for providing them with the opportunity to train within Riyada initiative.
