College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas Organizes a Training Course on (Modern Teaching Methods and Techniques)

     College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organized a training course on the topic (Modern Teaching Methods and Techniques). On Tuesday, the thirty-first of October, in the conference hall and under the patronage of the Dean of the College and the head of the department, Uday H. Ali lectured as a part of a series of courses to develop the skills of new lecturers at the college. The lecturer pointed out that the course was to enable participants to know the basics of modern teaching methods and how to deal with them and invest them in activating learning within the classroom and achieving effective learning among students. Mr. Hussein showed how to implement lectures and choose the most appropriate method for each of the selected learning strategies and the relationship to each other, and how to employ knowledge while distinguishing individual differences among learners and developing their thinking and methods of dealing with their students. The lecturer added that the course enables participants to formulate educational and scientific goals correctly, as well as plan to achieve goals. The curriculum is effective, and the course also enables participants to apply different teaching methods in different contexts and topics efficiently. The lecturer touched on how to manage the classroom, the ethics of dealing with students, and the need for the university professor to take into account the circumstances that take place in the classroom and avoid them in a way that serves our students and enhances their affiliation to their institution. He stressed the importance of the university professor using the latest technologies and methods in presenting scientific material to students.
