The Deanship of College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra hosted in its meeting hall, on Thursday, the nineteenth of this October. the meeting of the Committee of Deans of the Colleges of Administration and Economics in Iraq, with the participation of the Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Al-Tamimi. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Deans Committee, Professor Dr. Abdul Hussein T. Shibli, and in the presence of the deans of the faculties of administration and economics in Iraq. The meeting discussed the requests submitted by some private colleges regarding opening departments of accounting and oil and gas economics in the faculties of economic sciences, and took appropriate decisions regarding them. The meeting also discussed the book of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which stipulates adding an article called the Crimes of the Grave Baath for the primary studies curriculum. Al Ain University’s proposal to add artificial intelligence to the curriculum of one of the academic levels was also discussed, in addition to ministerial directives and other topics, and appropriate decisions were taken on all the topics presented.
