College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at Basra University for Oil and Gas organized a solidarity stand in support of Palestinian people on Sunday, the fifteenth of October, with the participation of a number of lecrurers and students. The activities of the solidarity stand were opened by reading Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs of Palestine. The stand witnessed words of support and some poetic poems which glorifies the sacrifices of the heroes in Palestine and those who defend Al-Aqsa, their homeland, and their religion against the usurping occupier. The protest also included raising Iraqi and Palestinian flags and national chants urging the need for everyone to contribute to standing and supporting the Palestinian people.
