Quality Assurance and University Performance Division at College of Oil and Gas Industrial Management organized an introductory symposium on evaluating the annual performance of teaching staff for the academic year 2022-2023, on Wednesday, the eleventh of October. Under the patronage of the President of Basra University for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Muhammad H. Al-Kaabi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sami O. Al-Tamimi, and Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq A. Adnan and Engineer Naba A. Jaafar. They talked about the most important topics in the annual performance evaluation form and how to document and submit requirements to topics that rely on committees, thanks, or participation in seminars and workshops and presenting Lectures. They stressed on the importance of everyone getting to know the topics and their paragraphs, the matters required in the evaluation, and the number of grades awarded for each paragraph for the purpose of working to enhance these activities that raise the level of evaluation of the teaching staff. At the end of the symposium, the comments and inquiries of the teaching staff who attended the symposium activities were listened to.
