College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas continues Its Volunteer Afforestation Campaign

College of Oil and Gas Industrial Management received Chief Engineer Muhammad Faleh, who is responsible for the “For a Green Basra Campaign”, on Tuesday the twenty-sixth of September, to discuss ways of cooperation with the volunteer team at the college in order to plant wider green spaces at the university and some important places. He was received by the Dean of the College, Dr. Sami O. Al-Tamimi, the Administrative Assistant, Dr. Adnan H. Jaaz, the Scientific Assistant, Dr. Nassif J. Ali, and in the presence of the head of the Horticulture Division at the Presidency of Basra University for Oil and Gas, the agricultural engineer, Zainab Nizar. Mr. Faleh  agreed to launch a wide campaign to plant trees in the presidential garden and the colleges. He reviewed the sites nominated for the afforestation campaign and discussed some technical matters for the sake of complete care and continuous watering of the seedlings and the selection of appropriate types. Mr. Faleh  stressed the need to beautify for the places surrounding the college, especially the street adjacent to the college, and with the participation of college students to enhance environmental culture for the sake of sustainability and for a green vision.
