Date: 13 August, 2023

The lecturer in the Department of Oil and Gas Management and Marketing at the College of Industrial Management of Oil and Gas, Assistant Lecturer Mustafa Taha Yassin, published a scientific research in the publishing house (Taylor and Francis) for the Arab Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences within the Scopus containers and classifier Q1, a research entitled "A new modification of an iterative method based on an inverse polynomial to solve Cauchy problems" as this research provides a modified iterative method to solve Cauchy problems or what is known as elementary value problems (IVPs) based on multiple technique Inverse boundaries. The researcher explained: We proved that the proposed method is consistent, stable and convergent, in addition to that, we clarified the consistency property of the single-stage scheme and the two-stage scheme in addition to the stability property of the proposed method to verify the accuracy of the method, we conducted many numerical experiments and presented the results graphically, and our results show that the proposed method exceeds the current methods and methods in terms of accuracy and efficiency, in addition to discussing the implications of our results for future research in this field in general. This research makes a valuable contribution to the numerical solution of IVPs and lays the foundation for further exploration in this area.
