Professors at College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas Published a Joint Scientific Research in an International Journal

A number of professors at the Department of Oil and Gas Management and Marketing at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas published a joint scientific research in the fourth volume, issue (4) of the Indian International SOUTH ASIAN JOURNAL OF SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES. They are: Dr. Marwa I. Zaid, the assistant lecturer Haider A. Karim, and the lecturer Assistant Russell E. Nori. The research was entitled "Knowledge Management in the Financial Performance of Small and Medium Enterprises". It aims to determine the impact of knowledge management processes (knowledge generation, knowledge distribution, and applied knowledge) on the financial performance in Malaysian small and medium companies. The primary and secondary analytical data were used as a tool for collecting data from 130 companies as a sample, and the results showed a positive correlation between knowledge management and financial performance. The knowledge management represents knowledge creativity, distribution, application, and expression of performance through the financial companies’ perspectives. The research reached a set of conclusions, including the impact of knowledge management operations to raise the level of financial performance.
