A lecturer at College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Dr. Yasser Abdullah Abbas, published his sixth research for year 2023 on the topic (The Impact of Sustainability on the Financial Performance of Underwriting Companies: Witnessed by Emerging Markets) Environmental Science and Pollution Research in a German magazine Scopus Q1 within Springer Science + Business Media under the publisher, Impact Factor 5.190 (Impact Factor) H-index 154, and it is one of the advanced journals in the field of business and sustainability, noting that the magazine is included in Scopus for more than 25 years. This study shows that sustainability practices play an important role in improving the financial performance of companies, and the results can facilitate financial institutions and regulatory agencies in the sustainability leadership on the part of companies with regard to sustainability issues, as companies must involve sustainability practices in making decisions about sustainability, and thus this study emphasizes the importance of combining social and organizational activities.
