A scientific symposium at the College of Industrial Management of Oil and Gas discusses the future impact of the general budget for the year 2023

The College of Industrial Management of Oil and Gas at the University of Basra for Oil and Gas organized the scientific symposium tagged (The general budget for the year 2023 in Iraq between the contradictions of reform and waste of resources) on Wednesday morning, the twenty-fourth of May, and in the central conference hall and under the patronage and presence of the President of the University of Basra for Oil and Gas, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hillel Hafez Al-Kaabi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Industrial Management of Oil and Gas, Dr. Sami Hashem Al-Saadi, and the symposium was moderated by Dr. Sami Hashem Al-Saadi, The first axis was entitled "A reading in the general budget for the year 2023" budget for the first time" presented by Prof. Dr. Youssef Al-Asadi, while the second axis was entitled: "Employment policies are one of the evidence of waste in resources" and was presented by the assistant stadium Dr. Shaaban Saddam Al-Emirate. Al-Asadi spoke in the seminar about the importance of the budget and the new organization of the budget and the new paragraphs added to it, from additions to operational budgets, job allocations, oil companies, the price of a barrel of oil and the amount of oil exports that have been fixed in the budget, stressing the fluctuations in oil prices that can lead to a decrease from what was determined by this budget. As a price per barrel, especially in light of the crisis of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the possibility of not achieving the supposed revenues is the most important challenge for this budget, while the emirate talked about employment policies as one of the evidence of waste in resources
