College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas Holds a Conference to Discuss the Research of the Third Grade Students under the Slogan (Advancement and Construction)

College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas held a conference to discuss research papers for the graduation of the third grade of students from the Department of Management and Marketing of Oil and Gas, under the slogan (advancement and construction), on Sunday, the twenty-first of May, and in the central conference hall at Basra University for Oil and Gas. It held under the auspices of the President of Basra University for Oil and Gas Professor Dr. Muhammad H. Al-Kaabi, under the supervision of the Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Dr. Sami H. Al-Saadi. The divination of the ceremony was moderated by the assistant lecturer, Fatima H. Ahmed. The activities of the conference began with verses from the Holy Quran, then listening to the national anthem and reciting Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of all the martyrs of Iraq.Then a speech by the Dean of the College, Dr. Sami H. Al-Saadi, in which he explained,” We are living today as a result of four years of the third grade of students from the Department of Management and Marketing of Oil and Gas. A knowledge outcome of the students’ efforts during the fourth year, whose topics varied in terms of problems, theoretical frameworks, and applied visions, all in the field of supporting the oil industry sector through these promising researches that will advance as postgraduate studies projects in the coming years. All praise for the efforts of students and their supervisors for these precious fruits submitted by the students, which is the outcome of the undergraduate study”. Then he announced the launch of the opening session to discuss graduation research, headed by Dr. Sami H. Al-Saadi, with the membership of Dr. Nassif J. Al-Abadi as a discussant, and Dr. Yasser Abdullah as rapporteur.Five researches were discussed in the opening session, which are (the development of petroleum contracts and their impact on the activities of the oil industry) by the student Shaima S. Mazloum, (sea transportation of oil and the role of the Iraqi oil tankers company in transporting Iraqi oil) by the student Fatima F. Fanjan, (the effects of environmental pollution due to the remnants of the oil industry) by the student Ola H. Muhammad, (the impact of the stages of the oil industry on environmental pollution in Iraq and the Arab region) by the student Ghadeer M. Hussein, and (management of oil revenues and their impact on the development of Iraqi economic resources) by the student Huda K. Mohsen.The rest of the students were divided into five discussion sessions, as during each session 5 researches were discussed and 30 researches during the student graduation conference for the third grade, as the research varied In the topics of oil management and solving the problems of the oil industry and everything related to the industry of important and modern topics that simulate the contemporary labor market and the most prominent problems of the oil sector.
