The curtain fell on the Dean's Cup Championship of the College of Industrial Management of Oil and Gas for five-a-side football for students (second season) this evening, Monday, the eighth of May, in the presence and patronage of the Dean of the College, Dr. Sami Hashim Al-Saadi, and organized by the Student Activities Unit in the college and in cooperation with the Student Activities Division in the Presidency of the University of Basra for Oil and Gas, as the final match was held between the two student teams of the Department of Oil and Gas Management and Marketing, the second stage, in the evening, and the student team of the Department of Oil and Gas Economics, the stage The first evening, and the match witnessed a competitive atmosphere and strong competition between the two teams and ended with the victory of the team of the Department of Oil and Gas Management and Marketing title after winning the score (5-2), as the match witnessed the brilliance of student Abdullah Abbas by scoring a hat-trick and Hassanein Tawfiq and Ali Nazih scored the fourth and fifth, while the goals of the oil and gas economics scored the brilliant Hussein Yasser, and the match witnessed the expulsion of one of the oil and gas economics players (Hussein Sabah), and at the end of the tournament awards and medals were distributed to the first and second team, The awards witnessed the honoring of the team of the Oil and Gas Management and Marketing Department, the third stage, with the ideal team award in the tournament, while the award for the best goalkeeper went to the student Ahmed Jassim from the management and marketing of oil and gas, the second stage, evening, and from the same section, the student Hassanein Tawfiq won the title of top scorer of the tournament and the student Abdullah Abbas, the best player in this tournament.The two teams received MEDALS and awards amid the joys of the audience present in the match, as was the college's administrative assistant Dr. Adnan Hadi Gaaz, the head of the Department of Oil and Gas Management and Marketing teacher Adi Hussein Ali, the rapporteur of the Department of Oil and Gas Management and Marketing teacher Haider Ali Al-Asadi and a number of teachers and students.
