A lecturer at College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Dr. Yasser Abdullah Abbas, published scientific research on (the impact of social and environmental disclosure on the performance of long-term stock prices for underwriting companies) in the British Journal of Financial Reporting and Accounting, which is located within Scopus Q2 containers under the publisher Emerald. The results of this study facilitate companies, financial institutions and regulatory bodies in leading companies to be more responsible towards society and the environment, as this study sheds light in general on the critical role of society and the environment to reveal more data. The results of this study indicate that the disclosure of community information and the environment effectively contributes to the development of the performance of public offering companies, including maximizing profitability and the reputation of the company.
