The Dean of the College of Industrial Management of Oil and Gas at Basra University of Oil and Gas, Assistant Professor Dr. Sami Hashem Faleh Al-Saadi, participated in the meeting of the deans of the faculties of administration and economics, based on an invitation addressed to him to attend the meeting Held in the College of Administration and Economics, University of Basra, where during the meeting, a number of scientific and administrative topics related to the concerned colleges were discussed, including the development of new scientific departments in some private colleges and verifying that the terms and conditions for the development are met, in addition to the formation of a committee to study the development of postgraduate studies in some government colleges with certain disciplines within the colleges of administration and economics that have completed the requirements of development. The meeting witnessed an important intervention by Al-Saadi, in which he talked about a number of scientific and administrative developmental matters, especially with regard to the development of scientific curricula, the privacy of specialized colleges, and the importance of taking care of the quality of the colleges' outputs in order to enhance their position in the labor market.
