College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organized a scientific trip for students of the second stage of the Department of Oil and Gas Management and Marketing (evening study) on Saturday, the eighteenth of March, to Basra International Exhibition and Conference for Oil, Gas, Energy and Renewable Energy, which is located on the grounds of Basra International Fair (Al-Maqal Port) Which was held with the support of Ministry of Oil, Ministry of Electricity, and Ministry of Environment, with the participation of Parliamentary Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Committee, and National Investment Commission, and sponsored by Communications Commission and National Commission. The National Investment Authority and the Parliamentary Electricity and Energy Committee for the period from 16-19 March 2023, with the participation of more than 100 companies from 15 countries. Regarding the oil and gas industry, the students were accompanied by a number of teaching staff, each of whom was the assistant lecturer, Muhammad Gh. Abdel-Karim and the assistant lecturer, Al-Hassan A. Ibrahim, in addition to the engineer, Karama Abdul-Jabbar, toured the pavilions of local and international oil companies, as well as their visit to the pavilions of scientific companies and institutions concerned with oil and gas equipment. They wer the builders of the future by managing the oil sector, and the students attended some of the events held on the exhibition grounds related to the oil and gas sector.
