The College of Industrial Management of Oil and Gas organizes a seminar (16 Days of Activism to Combat Violence against Women)

The College of Industrial Management of Oil and Gas at Basra University of Oil and Gas organized an awareness seminar entitled (16 Days to Combat Violence against Women) on Wednesday, the fourteenth of December, at the Central Conference Hall, and under the patronage of the President of Basra University of Oil and Gas, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Halil Hafez Al-Kaabi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Industrial Management of Oil and Gas, Dr. Sami Hashem Faleh Al-Saadi, and the seminar was moderated by Assistant Lecturer Sakina Sultan Aziz, and Dr. Enas Abdul Aziz lectured at the symposium Al-Nasser, and the senior engineer Sarah Alaa Mahdi Al-Tamimi, and the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Sami Hashem Faleh Al-Saadi, gave a speech against women and praised the efforts of working women and stressed the importance of women being strong at various levels, and in turn, Dr. Enas Al-Nasser talked about ways and mechanisms to empower women and how women dispel their fears to be a leading figure in society and the importance of women sharing with men the various duties of life to ensure their entity and their contribution to the actual construction, while Engineer Sarah Alaa spoke Al-Tamimi on the most prominent rights of women and how to empower women economically and that women take their role in various works in a manner befitting their social and family status, and a film was presented on the sidelines of the symposium on (violence against women), as well as a competition and gifts were held that included various questions about leading Iraqi women in various fields.
