College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas Organizes a Scientific Symposium on (Risks of Oil Industries)

Department of Oil Project Management at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organized a scientific symposium entitled (Risks of Oil Industries) on twenty-first of November, in the central conference hall. It held under the auspices of the President of Basra University for Oil and Gas, Prof. Dr. Muhammad H. Al-Kaabi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Dr. Sami H. Al-Saadi. The symposium was moderated by the head of the department, assistant lecturer Rafid Kh. Radhi, and the student Anwar Dakhil and the student Fatima Aqil attended the workshop. They talked during the symposium about the most important risks of oil industries, including the leakage of H2s gas and its risks, which lead to deaths within 30 Minutes, the symposium also reviewed the risks of oil spills and marine pollution, methods of prevention and treatment of them, and how leaks affect wild, marine and natural life on lives of workers in oil sector at all levels.
