The Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Dr. Sami Al-Saadi’s Cup Championship for Chess and Table Tennis for morning and evening students, was launched, which is organized by Student Activities Unit in the college in cooperation with Student Activities Department at Basra University Presidency for Oil and Gas. The first match was between the student Muhammad Amjad and Al-Hassan Shahid, which ended with winning of the student Muhammad Amjad by two sets for nothing. The second match was between the student Muhammad Moneim versus Muhammad Habib ended with winning of the student Abdel Moneim by two sets for nothing. The third match ended with winning of the student, Sajjad Abbas. As for the chess match was very strong confrontations took place on the first day. The student Muhammad Amer versus Karar Haider. The match ended with winning the student Karar Haider after a strong team match that lasted 45 minutes. The second match took place between the student Muhammad Sadiq x Muhammad Habib and ended with winning of the student Muhammad Sadiq Jaafar.
