Under the slogan (Paper and Pen) and under the patronage of the President of Basra University for Oil and Gas Prof. Dr. Muhammad H. Al-Kaabi, and under the supervision of the Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas Assistant Professor Dr. Sami H. Al-Saadi, College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, in cooperation with the Department of Media and Public Relations at the Presidency of Basra University for Oil and Gas, organized the third annual festival on the twenty-fifth of May. The president and the dean of the college opened the festival and viewed the various activities. Al-Kaabi praised the good organization and diversity of scientific and cultural activities. It included a book fair, a plastic exhibition, a calligraphy exhibition, an exhibition of handicrafts, a symposium for free drawing for children, in addition to a charitable market and various artistic, entertainment and heritage activities that added a joyful atmosphere to the activities of the first day. The college celebrated the cultural season inside the college corridors, as well as to honor the talents and young energies in Basra to present their products and projects to support young people’s ideas that enable them to set up their own small projects and rely on their ideas and creativity.
