The College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at Basra University for Oil and Gas organized a central celebration in the occasion of International Day of Arabic Language. On Sunday, the nineteenth of December, in the conference hall of the college. The assistant lecturer, Fatima Hadi Ahmed, presented the activities of the ceremony. Then the speech of the Dean, Dr. Sami Al-Saadi, during which he stressed the importance of commemorating the International Day of Arabic language, as it is our identity and the language of the Noble Qur’an, and we must cherish it and learn all its details. Dr. Nsief Al-Abadi confirmed n a speech on the importance of observing Arabic language in all official communications, especially in government departments, and providing courses and workshops for administrative staff to avoid common mistakes in official communications. Then the assistant lecturer (Israa Faleh) presented a research article on the subject of Arabic culture, authenticity and identity.
