Basra University for Oil and Gas Opens a New Hall for Conferences and Seminars

Basra University for Oil and Gas organized a ceremony to announce the opening of a new conference hall on Thursday, the sixteenth of December.  A verse of the Holy Quran recited by the student, Muhammad Nezar, then the national anthem and reciting Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq. The President of Basra University for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Kaabi, gave his speech in which he praised the efforts of everyone who contributed to show the hall. He stressed that the university also completed preparing six new classrooms in College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas in the coming days. The university is continuing to expand the infrastructure, including the works of the research centers building (formerly) in Karmat Ali site and the buildings of the vocational training centers in Abu Al-Khasib and Al-Zubayr. As well as the progression of important steps on the subject of the future university building in Qurna. The president said that would be scientific expansion and the creation of new colleges and scientific departments to serve the oil sector all over the world. Then a documentary film was shown to show the stages of work and achievement for the hall and showing the efforts made by the supervising committees.
