The Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit for Graduates in College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas held a training workshop for graduates of Oil and Gas Management and Marketing Department on “Writing a CV in international formats and conducting employment interviews in professional ways”. Mr. Ali Kniher lectured on how to write a CV. He spoke about how to prepare for job market for the post-graduation stage and importance of developing the capabilities and skills of graduate, especially with regard to English language and general culture. The CV is one of the first step for any job application because it is the only way to introduce oneself to companies and institutions, and to introduce the academic and scientific certificates, the professional skills and previous experiences of the owner of the resume. Mr. Kniher also reviewed the most important points that graduate must abide by during employment interviews with oil companies, the need to prepare for the interview, identify the company that will meet the graduate, use the graduate’s tone and train on the expected questions. The quiet voice and objective vocabulary and thanks at the end of the interview to the interview committee. The lecturer listened to the students’ interventions and inquiries and answered them clearly for the benefit of all.
