Basra University for Oil and Gas organizes the first conference to discuss the graduation research of the first Class of students of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas

College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at Basra University for Oil and Gas organized the first annual conference to discuss the graduation research of the students of the Department of Oil and Gas Management and Marketing, which is the first class of graduates from the college. The conference held under the patronage of the president of Basra University for Oil and Gas Prof. Dr. (Mohammed H. Al-Kaabi), and under the supervision of the Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Dr. (Sami H. Al-Saadi). The activities opened with recited verses from the Qur’an and the national anthem. , and the president of the university emphasized in his opening speech that the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas will graduate the first class specialized in the field of oil and gas marketing, and it is the first of its kind in Iraq.

The Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Dr. (Sami Al-Saadi), indicated that the conference included four sessions and the events took place in more than one hall with the participation of experts and specialized academics who provided valuable scientific observations to our students. The opening session was headed by the former Dean of College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra (Prof. Dr. Nabil J. Al-Marsoumi). The session’s rapporteur, the lecturer (Helen N. Al-Maliki) and the supervisor Dr. (Sami H. Al-Saadi). The students’ researches of the students (Adian Adel, Sujood Abdul Karim, Laila Hassan, and Maysoon Hussein).

The supervisory committees recommended seeking to implement the slogan raised by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Universities at the Service of Society) by diversifying the sources and tools of research in compatible with the requirements of society. At the conclusion of the conference, the interlocutors were honored for their scientific efforts in providing observations and scientific corrections that contributed to the success of the conference’s activities.
