Under the slogan (With persistence and creativity we challenge the epidemic), the second annual festival organized. It held under the supervision of the dean of the college Dr. Sami Al-Saadi and sponsored by the President of Basra University for Oil and Gas, Prof. Muhammad Al-Kaabi. The second deputy governor of Basra, Dr. Dergham Al-Ajwady opened the festival accompanied with Dr. Nassif Jassem Al-Abadi and the scientific assistant, Dr. (Ali Kazem Saddam). Al-Ajwadi praised the efforts of the College and its leaders for the good organization and diversity of scientific and cultural activities. The festival included many activities like a book exhibition, calligraphy, an exhibition of handicrafts, and a free drawing of children. In addition to the charitable market and various artistic and recreational activities that added a joyful atmosphere to the activities of the first day. Haider Al-Asadi, the director of Media and Public relations Department, said that the festival witnessed participation of more than 70 diverse parties and nearly 100 young people who contributed by presenting their artistic products and handicrafts. The college organized the festival to fulfill the cultural season inside the corridors of the college as well as to honor the talented and young energies in Basra to present their products to support their ideas that enable them to set up their own small projects.
