Championship was launched on Sunday, the twentieth of this June, with the participation of students, professors and members of the college, and organized by the Sports and Technical Activities Unit in the college and in cooperation with the Student Activities Department at the Presidency of the University Basra Oil and Gas, and the matches of the first day witnessed intense competition between the participants who thanked the college for organizing various sports activities. If the opening match witnessed the victory of the student Barak Sabah Akol over the student Ali Adel Reda, while the student Karar Haider Zayed won over the student Hikmat Munir Jamil.
