The department vision is to make progress in the skills of oil and gas management and marketing within technical and scientific aspects and to provide graduates with geometric and managerial knowledge to manage productive process in the oil sector.

The mission of department of Management and Marketing of Oil and Gas lies in managing of industrial institutions with technical and technological skills according to the following:

  1. Application of management, statistics and operation research sciences in the field of manufacturing and industrial management.
  2. Providing governmental and private institutions with human resources that have capabilities and high skills in the field of geometrical and industrial management.

The Department Objectives

 

The department aims to provide industrial and oil sectors with 2scientific outputs by using modern management through using mathematical methods in industrial and geometric work and providing graduates with the following qualities:

  1.   Basic concepts of modern management and training in quantitative methods in planning and production control processes by using computer capabilities, theories, basic methods in operations research, descriptive statistics and mathematics.
  2.  Basic scientific aspects are related to management of industrial projects evaluation, production methods, technical paths, study of work and industrial organizing.
