The Student Activities Unit at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organized a humanitarian volunteer visit to the Basra Specialized Children's Hospital, supervised by a number of the college's professors and dear students, on the morning of Sunday, December 8, 2024. The volunteer visit was to present gifts and toys to the sick children staying in the hospital, out of their keenness to raise the morale of the children and their families, wishing them a speedy recovery and that God would grant them health and wellness. The hospital administration praised the continuous volunteer initiatives of the professors, staff and students of the University of Basra for Oil and Gas.

The College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas paid a humanitarian visit to Al-Noor Institute for the Blind to provide psychological support to students with disabilities.

A number of evening students from the Department of Oil Project Management at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organized a humanitarian volunteer initiative to visit the Al-Noor Institute for the Blind in Basra on Monday morning, November 4, 2024, under the supervision of Engineer Karama Abdul-Jabbar and the head of the Student Activities Division at the university, Mr. Muhammad Abdul-Ridha Al-Mansouri. The students presented gifts and toys to the children with disabilities who study at the institute in order to provide them with moral and psychological support and to encourage them to acquire knowledge and develop themselves despite all the difficulties. The institute's administration expressed their satisfaction with this visit and thanked the delegation and the college administration for being proactive in providing humanitarian volunteer initiatives to serve various segments of Iraqi society.

The College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organized a voluntary initiative to provide Eid clothing for orphaned children residing in the State Orphanage (Girls' Section) on Sunday morning, April 7th, under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Muhammad Al-Tamimi, and the supervision of the Head of the Department of Oil and Gas Management and Marketing, Lecturer Uday Hussein Ali, with the participation and presence of Assistant Lecturer Saif Barzan Nitishon, Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Razzaq Zughair, Engineer Karama Abdul-Jabbar Abdul, and a number of morning students in the Department of Oil and Gas Management and Marketing. This initiative came in conjunction with the approach of the blessed Eid al-Fitr, and the administration of the orphanage praised the continuous voluntary initiatives provided by the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas to various segments of Iraqi society.

The College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas held a group Iftar banquet for its male and female students residing in the dormitories, on the evening of Sunday, March 24th, under the patronage of the President of Basra University for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Muhammad Halil Hafez Al-Kaabi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Muhammad Al-Tamimi, and in the presence of the Administrative Assistant, Dr. Adnan Hadi Jaaz, the Head of the Department of Oil and Gas Economics, Assistant Professor Helen Naama Hattab Al-Maliki, the Head of the Department of Oil Projects Management, Assistant Lecturer Rafid Khader Radhi, the Rapporteur of the Department of Oil and Gas Management and Marketing, Lecturer Haider Ali Karim, accompanied by Assistant Lecturer Hussein Kamel Al-Abadi, Assistant Lecturer Haider Sadiq Kadhim, and Engineer Karama Abdul-Jabbar. The Administrative Assistant spoke with the students and emphasized that the college is aware of all the students' circumstances, so we wanted to spend a Ramadan evening with our dear students today and share their day.
