As part of its volunteer work in community service, the service procession of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at the University of Basra Oil and Gas continues to provide services to the honorable visitors participating in the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) by providing services to them at the procession site: located in Al-Amal neighborhood, Tuwairij Road, Karbala, after the visitors' city, pillar 83, under the supervision of Mr. Mazen Hadi Aboud. The procession will continue to provide services until the Arbaeen pilgrimage. In a related matter, the college's vehicles contributed to transporting the honorable visitors from the Shalamja border crossing to alleviate the congestion and to organize the movement of the honorable visitors, as part of the volunteer initiatives.

As part of the activities of the Ramadan Initiative for Volunteer Work document, the Student Activities Unit and the Sub-Committee for Volunteer Work at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organized a volunteer initiative (Ramadan Iftar banquet) for students of the University of Basra for Oil and Gas residing in the dormitories (students of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas and the College of Oil and Gas Engineering), both male and female students, for morning and evening studies, on the evening of Sunday, March 1, 2026, under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Muhammad Al-Tamimi, and with the voluntary efforts and participation of the professors of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas. The Administrative Assistant of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Ali Al-Asadi, who shared the Iftar banquet with the students, stated that this initiative is annual in order to contribute to supporting our university students residing in the dormitories and to try to care for them and support them morally during this holy month.
